Hike in the Blues

Yesterday I went on a hike with a group of 13....all over 50....in fact that is the name of the hiking group. We do other things too like biking and kayaking. This hike was different in that we went 1800 ft downhill first to the Umatilla RIver and then had to hike back up. I think we all agreed it is better to start at the bottom and hike up. Lots of wildflowers were in bloom including clarkia, paintbrush and columbine.
